 Managing Partner, Louis M. Aidala, is a proven leader in the financial services industry and has guided many Financial Representatives to successful careers. His experience, guidance and management skills have placed him among the company’s top managers.

Lou is a multiple MDRT qualifier and has received numerous NSAA and NQA awards. He qualified as a Master Agency Builder for New England Financial and was a Managing Associate of the Year nominee in 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999. Lou also earned the prestigious Coaches Award twice and has qualified for NEF’s Top Recruiters Conference eight times. As a District Manager, his unit finished #1 on the NEF District Agency Report and the New Agent Development Report in 1998. During the same year, he was awarded the coveted Edward E. Phillips Award for Outstanding Citizenship and Community Service. Lou has personally qualified for both GAMA’s Career Development Award three times and the prestigious Master Agency Award Gold Level 21 years in a row. Lou was the first person from the field to be invited to speak at the MetLife Chairman’s Leadership Group in August 2004 to give his presentation, “The Gift of Life.”

In 1993, Lou joined New England Financial as a District Manager. In 1997, Lou was then promoted to Associate Managing Partner of the firm and in July 2000 was later promoted to Co-Managing Partner. Under Lou’s direction, the firm was honored with a President’s Trophy in 2000 and nominated again in 2001. He served on MetLife’s product committee, in addition to New England Financial Field Benefits committee. Lou frequently contributes articles to industry publications and often speaks at meetings throughout MetLife and New England Financial. Additionally, Lou has been featured in the “Who’s Who in Business and Finance.”
Since joining New England Financial, Lou has qualified for Chairman’s Council in 2000, 2005 and 2007. In 2009, he also qualified for Management Leader’s Conference.
 
Lou holds Series 7, Series 6, Series 63, Series 24 and Series 26 FINRA Registrations and is a Registered Representative and Registered Principal of New England Securities, Inc. 
 
In 1984, Lou entered the life insurance business with Phoenix Mutual Life, where he wrote over 100 policies in his first seven months, enabling him to win the company’s Rookie of the Year Award. He also won the New Organization Agent of the Year Award for each of his first four years in the business. From 1991 to 1993, Lou ran an independent brokerage operation and won the Disability Income Leader Award for Security Mutual. Prior to entering the financial services business, Lou served as Bryant Gumbel’s assistant at NBC Sports and contributed numerous articles to Inside Sports Magazine and Pro College Football Weekly.
 
A Fordham University graduate, Lou is a member of Fordham’s Alumni Association, the Grid Iron Club. Lou is active in GAMA and NAIFA, where he is the past President of his local branch and former public relations chair for the New York City Association of Life Underwriters (NYCALU). Lou is also the proud father of his two sons, Michael and Louis.
