In the fall of 2009, New England Wealth Strategies adopted Smile Train as our firm charity. Smile Train is an organization with a single mission: to provide free cleft surgery for millions of poor children and free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals in developing countries.

We initially set a firm goal of raising $2,500 by January 2010. At a cost of $250 per surgery, that would have helped change the lives of 10 children. However, due to an outpouring of support and donations, the firm managed to raise over $5,000.  This enabled us to dramatically improve the lives of 20 children.

We have pledged to continue this partnership throughout 2010 with the hopes of bringing more smiles to children worldwide.
